OUR CARE & SUPPORT VOLUNTEER AREAS

Provides assistance within the People In Need (PIN) ministry, meeting routinely with those in financial crisis to help them achieve stability through learning to budget, manage and steward resources, working towards financial wholeness.

Provides financial assistance with grace and encouragement so that we can lead people toward a God-oriented, biblically informed life. As a PIN volunteer you will meet with individuals seeking financial assistance from CCCC and strive to build a discipling relationship, while further leading them to be connected within the church and encouraging them towards a deeper relationship with Christ.

Provides Gospel presence and comfort to those who have lost a loved one by hosting a CCCC funeral. Volunteers help to receive flowers and assist with setup and breakdown for a funeral service.

Provides the grieving family with Gospel comfort during the weeks and months after the loss of a loved one, through phone calls, mailing cards and visits.

Provides Gospel presence and support to those within our congregation who are experiencing illnesses by providing hospital visits and phone calls.

Provides a mentor couple and connects them with an engaged couple before the marriage occurs specifically to engage in conversation about how the Gospel of Jesus informs, shapes, and blesses a God-glorifying marriage. The primary role of the mentor couple is to ask good questions, and encourage open and honest dialog between the engaged couple to help them see their marriage in light of the gospel.

Provides prayer and Gospel presence to the Church and congregation during Sunday morning services. Our desire is to love God and love others through prayer.

Provides a primarily service-tasked ministry dedicated to providing hands-on, practical help to the families within our congregation who are facing prolonged or burdensome situations. Some of the services could be providing meals, running errands, cleaning house, and doing laundry as well as organizing these volunteer tasks.
